We're Building the Anti-Social Network
The only app that wants you to have a real life.
The Anti-Scroll Playbook
A Declaration Against the Infinite Scroll
We've Had Enough
Social media promised connection. It delivered addiction. The average person scrolls 5 miles of content per year, burns zero calories, and feels worse after every session. We're done pretending this is normal.
Doing Beats Doomscrolling
Every other app fights for your screen time. We fight for your real time. On ThrowDart the feed only moves when you do β throw a dart, do the thing, and show 8βsecond proof. Doing unlocks watching.
The 2.3 Minute Revolution
Our average session is 2.3 minutes. VCs called us crazy. Users called us liberating. We call it success. Because every minute you're not here, you're living.
Proof or It Didn't Happen
We don't do likes. We do proof. 8 seconds of evidence that you actually did something. Threw a dart. Visited a place. Burned calories. Lived a moment.
The Movement
We're not building a user base. We're building a movement. 50,000 people have already chosen doing over scrolling. 2.8 million calories burned. 1,847 scroll sessions ruined daily. This is just the beginning.
Built by recovering scroll addicts, for future real-life enthusiasts.
The Origin Story
ThrowDart started with a screen time report that made us sick. 8 hours daily. 56 hours weekly. 2,912 hours yearly. That's 4 months of our lives, gone to the feed. We tried app limits. We tried digital detoxes. Nothing worked. So we built the solution: an app that literally won't let you stay. One that makes you earn your content by living first. One that celebrates the logout, not the login.
TL;DR β We got tired of apps keeping us in, so we built one that kicks us out.
Our Mission
To cure boredom without causing addiction.
Every feature we build asks one question: Will this get people moving or keep them sitting? If it keeps them sitting, we kill it.
Values
Our Anti-Metrics
Traditional apps hide these. We celebrate them.
Built By Recovering Addicts
We're not Silicon Valley insiders. We're screen time survivors.
Our Investors Get It
They're betting against engagement.
